SHARH OF THE 40 HADEETH: HADEETH
NUMBER 23
08-11-2012 (Night Dars)
HADEETH NUMBER 23:
On the authority of Abu Malik al-Harith bin
al-Harith al-Asharee (RA) who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Purity is
half of iman (faith). ‘Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah)’ fills the scales,
and ‘subhan-Allah (how far is Allah from every imperfection) and
‘al-hamdulillah (praise be to Allah)’ fill that which is between heaven and
earth. And the salah (prayer) is a light, and charity is a proof, and patience
is illumination, and the Qur’an is a proof either for you or against you. Every
person starts his day as a vendor of his soul, either freeing it or causing its
ruin." [Sahih Muslim (1/203) No. 223]
This hadeeth is proof that the Muslims are the most hygienic
-in the hadith it means spiritual purification
-and shirk is impure
-kaffirs cannot enter Makkah or Madina because they are impure
Muslims cannot be impure
-the kaffirs are impure spiritually because of their aqeeda
-they do not make istinja-washing of private parts after urinating and
defecation
-when Allah dismisses people of being impure
-it is because of their beliefs and not making istinja
-Muslims are circumcised (men) and it is compulsory
Narrated By Abu Huraira: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying. "Five
practices are characteristics of the Fitra: circumcision, shaving the pubic
hair, cutting the moustaches short, clipping the nails, and depilating the hair
of the armpits." [Al-Bukhari (6297) and Muslim (496)]
A Muslim has to shave his pubic hair
-and hair under the armpit every 40 days
A Muslim woman should not marry an uncircumcised man
-because when a man is not circumcised he is not clean
-and he is prone to cancer
Had they followed Jesus and get circumcised they won’t be in this state
-but they abandoned what Jesus brought and followed Paul who was a Jew
-his aim and objective was to destroy the teachings of Jesus
-because a Jew always tries to destroy the message of Allah
-this was what Abdullah ibn Saba wanted
…"Purity is half of iman (faith)…
The Rasool (ﷺ) said cleanliness is half of your emaan
-and in order to be clean you have to be circumcised, clip your nails, brush
your teeth
-you are not allowed to have bad breath
Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah
(ﷺ) said, "If it was not for the fact that I
might have been overburdening my community - or the people - I would have
ordered them to use the siwak for every prayer." [al-Bukhari (887) and
Muslim (252)]
Narrated By Ibn Abbas The Prophet (ﷺ) once passed by two
graves, and those two persons (in the graves) were being tortured. He said,
"They are being tortured not for a great thing (to avoid). One of them
never saved himself from being soiled with his urine, while the other was going
about with calumnies (to make enmity between friends). He then took a green
leaf of a date-palm tree split it into two pieces and fixed one on each grave.
The people said, "O Allah's Apostle! Why have you done so?" He
replied, "I hope that their punishment may be lessened till they (the
leaf) become dry." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 2, Book 23, Hadith #443]
The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by 2 graves who were being punished
-one was a talebearer and the other used to drop urine on his trousers
-your clothing cannot be soiled with najasa (urine and fences)
-if they are it means you didn’t perform tahara
It is reported from Hudhaifa that news reached
him (the Holy Prophet (ﷺ)) that a certain man
carried tales. Upon this Hudhaifa remarked: I heard Allah's Messenger ((ﷺ)) saying: "The
tale-bearer shall not enter Paradise." [Al-Bukhari (6056) and Muslim
(189)]
Because Muslims are the most hygienic on earth
-we are not allowed to keep pet dogs
-the angels don’t enter homes with 5 things:
1. PICTURES HANGING
2. A PERSON WITH JANABA
3. A BELL
4. A PET DOG
5. URINE
Ibn Abbas (RA) reported having heard Abu Talhah say
that he heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) say, “The angels do not
enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture of an animate.” [Tirmidhi
2813, Bukhari 3225, Muslim 2106 & 3649, Ahmed 16347, Nisai 4288]
The angel of mercy is the one that abstains from these homes
-because the angel of death will still enter your home if it is your time to
die
The Islamic religion is so hygienic
-we are not allowed to go to bed with our wives while they are menstruating
-if you do so, you give away 4 1/4 grams of goal in charity
Ibn Abbas (RA) narrated the Prophet (ﷺ) said concerning one who
had intercourse with his wife when she was menstruating: “Let him give a dinar
or half a dinar in charity.” [Musnad Ahmad (1/229) No. 2032, Sunan Abu Dawud
(2/251) No. 2168, Sunan Tirmidhi (1/244) No. 136, Sunan An-Nasa’i (1/153) No.
289 and Sunan Ibn Majah (1/405) No. 640]
If your wife was menstruating and then stops
-you can’t go to bed with her until she makes ghusl
-this is the madhab of the 3 imams except Abu Hanifa
The place you pray has to be clean for your salah to be accepted
-the clothing you are praying in have to be clean too
-the person praying has to be in a state of wudu
-praying without wudu makes your salah baatil
It is permissible to divorce your partner if they have bad breath
-or do not pay attention to personal hygiene
HOW TO PERFORM WUDU ACCORDING TO THE PROPHET'S SUNNAH
Humran (the freed slave of Uthman), who said
that Uthman ibn Affan (RA) called for water to do wudo’. He washed his hands
three times, then he rinsed his mouth and nose, then he washed his face three
times, then he washed his right arm up to the elbow three times, then he washed
his left arm likewise. Then he wiped his head, then he washed his right foot up
to the ankle three times, then he washed his left foot likewise. Then he said,
“I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) doing wudo’ as I have
done it, then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, ‘Whoever does wudo’
as I have done it, then prays two rak’ahs in which he focuses completely on his
prayer, his previous sins will be forgiven.’” [Sahih Muslim (1/204) No. 226,
Musnad Ahmad (1/59) No. 418, Sunan Abu Dawud (1/26) No. 106, Sunan al-Nasa'i
(1/64) No. 84, Sunan Darimi (1/544) No. 720]
1. MAKE YOUR INTENTION
-I intend to purify myself by way of wudu in your heart not aloud
2. SAY BISMILLAH
Abu Hurairah narrated the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "...the
ablution of a person who does not mention the name of Allah (in the beginning)
is not valid. [Sunan Abu Dawud (1/73) No. 101, Sunan Ibn Majah (1/257) No. 399,
Musnad Ahmad (3/41) No. 11388, Sunan Tirmidhi (1/37) No. 25]
Abu Hurayrah (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Every important
word or matter that does not begin with remembrance of Allah is maimed.”
[Musnad Ahmad (2/359) No. 8797, Sunan Ibn Majah (3/89) No. 1894, Sahih Ibn
Hibban (1/173) No. 1, al-Sunan al-Kubra al-Nasa'i (9/185) No. 10258]
-Bismillah in wudu is Sunnah mu’akadah
3. WASH YOUR HANDS 3 TIMES UP TO YOUR WRIST
4. WASH YOUR MOUTH 3 TIMES
5. WASH YOUR NOSE 3 TIMES
-use right hand to put water in your nose and left hand to blow it out
6. WASH YOUR FACE 3 TIMES
-a man should wash the hair on his face
-the one at the side of the cheek
-he has to wash the surface of the beard
-your chin is a part of your face too
7. WASH FROM YOUR FINGERS TO YOUR ELBOWS 3 TIMES
-women who wear nail polish have to take it off
-for their wudu to be valid
-washing up to the elbow means including the elbow
-if you do not wash your elbow, your wudu is invalid
8. WIPE THE HEAD ONCE
-beginning from the front to the back and then bringing the hand back to the
front
-when you wipe your head, you need to wipe your ears
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: 'The
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The ears are
part of the head."' [Sunan Ibn Majah (1/283) No. 445 and Sunan
al-Daraqutni (1/175) No. 339]
-use your thumbs to wipe the back of the ears
-and stick the fingers to wipe the lobes and inside
-wiping the back of the neck is the hallmark of Hanafi wudu
-the hadeeth for this is weak therefore doing so is bid'ah
9. WASH YOUR FEET 3 TIMES BEGINNING WITH THE RIGHT
-the Sunnah is to scrub between your toes
-use left hand to wash both feet
10. TO RECITE ASHADU AN LAILAHA ILLALLAH WA ASHADU ANNA MUHAMMADAN ABDUHU
WARASULUHU
-Tirmidhi added a dua to be recited
'Umar ibn al-Khattab reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "No one among
you does wudu' and does wudu' thoroughly -– or adequately - and then testifies,
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُ اللهِ
وَرَسُولُهُ 'Ash-hadu an la ilaha
illallahu Wahdahu la sharika Lahu, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa
Rasuluhu' (I testify that there is no true god except Allah Alone, Who has no
partners and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger) without the eight doors
of the Garden being opened to him so that he can enter by whichever of them he
wishes." [Sahih Muslim (1/209) No. 234]
A report narrated by al-Tirmidhi adds: اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ
التَّوَّابِينَ، وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ المُتَطَهِّرِينَ “Allahumma ij’alni min
al-tawwaabeena wa’j’alni min al-mutatahhireen (O Allah, make me one of
those who repent and make me one of those who purify themselves).” [Sunan
Tirmidhi (1/77) No. 55]
TYPES OF GHUSL
1. WAAJIB
2. MUSTAHAB
HOW TO MAKE GHUSL
1. WAAJIB GHUSL
-it has the following components:
a. THE NIYYAH
-i intend to purify myself with ghusl in your heart
b. WASH YOUR MOUTH
c. WASH YOUR NOSE
d. WASH YOUR ENTIRE BODY
It was narrated that ‘Aishah (RA) said: When the
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did ghusl for janaabah,
he would wash his hands and do wudoo’ as for prayer, then he would wash
himself, then he would run his fingers through his hair, then when he thought
that it [the water] had reached his skin, he would pour water over it [the
head] three times, then he would wash the rest of his body. [Al-Bukhari (248)
and Muslim (316)]
-all the 4 great imams said this waajib ghusl is accepted
-and sea water can be used for it
2. MUSTAHAB GHUSL
-this has 7 components:
a. NIYYAH
-i intend to purify myself with ghusl
b. TO SAY BISMILLAH
c. WASH THE HANDS 3 TIMES
d. WASH YOUR PRIVATE PARTS
-Aisha and umm salamah taught us how to make ghusl
e. MAKE WUDU LIKE THAT OF SALAH
f. WASH YOUR HAIR INCLUDING THE ROOT
-women don’t need to remove their braids
g. WASH YOUR ENTIRE BODY BEGINNING WITH THE RIGHT SIDE THEN THE LEFT
-this includes your mouth and nose
-ghusl without washing mouth and nose is not accepted
... ‘al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah)’ fills the scales, and ‘subhan-Allah
(how far is Allah from every imperfection) and ‘al-hamdulillah (praise be to
Allah)’ fill that which is between heaven and earth....
Alhamdulillah is a part of surah Fatiha
-and 2 words are light on the tongue but heavy on the scale
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: The Messenger of
Allah (ﷺ) said: “Two words which are light on the tongue
but which are dear to the Most Merciful and will weigh heavily in the balance:
Subhan Allah wa bi hamdih, subhan Allah il-‘Azeem (Glory and praise be to
Allah; Glory be to Allah the Almighty).” [al-Bukhari (6682) and Muslim (2694)]
When you say subhanAllah Allah loves you
-because you are declaring Allah is above all imperfections
-Allah said:
Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and
Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! (180) And peace be on the Messengers! (181) And all
the praise and thanks be to Allah, Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all
that exists). (182) (As-Saffat 37:180-182)
-He is free of all the weaknesses the kuffaar attribute to Him
-e.g. Allah repents or He beget a son
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on
the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. (Genesis 6:6) King James Version
These ayahs have the expression that Allah Loves
The Rasool (saw) then said salah is nur
...And the salah (prayer) is a light,...
-this nur is the one you have on your face
-the munafiq don’t have this
-the prophet (saw) meant from this statement,
-that the light you need to guide you in the darkness
-salah has the same function
-it prevents you from haram activities
...Verily, As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from
Al-Fahsha' (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.)
and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed,
etc.) and the remembering (praising, etc.) of (you by) Allah (in front of the
angels) is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising, etc.) Allah in
prayers, etc.]. And Allah knows what you do. (Al-'Ankabut 29:45)
The first thing Allah will ask you on judgement day will be salah
-it is the difference between Islam and kufr
The Messenger (ﷺ) told us in an authentic
hadith , “The first thing the people will be accountable for on the Day of
Judgment is prayer, Allah will say to His angels (even though he already knows)
: “Look at my servants prayers. Were they complete or not?” If they were
complete It will be written as complete. If they were not fully complete Allah
will say: “See if my servant has voluntary prayers, If he has them Allah will say:
Complete his obligatory prayers shortage with his voluntary prayers.” Then the
rest of his deeds will be dealt with in the same manner.” [Reported by Imams
Ahmad, Abu Dawood, An-Nisa'i, and Al-Hakim]
Abdullah ibn Shaqiq Uqayli (RA) reported, saying
“The companions of Muhummad (ﷺ) did not regard neglect of
any of the deeds as disbelief as they did (neglect) of Salah." [Sunan
Tirmidhi (5/14) No. 2622 and Mustadrak al-Haakim (1/48) No. 12 who said it met
the conditions of al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Jabir (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “Between a man
(Muslim) and shirk and disbelief lies neglect of salah.” [Sahih Muslim (1/88)
No. 82, Sunan Tirmidhi (5/13) No. 2620, Sunan Abu Dawud (4/219) No. 4678, Sunan
Ibn Majah (2/181) No. 1078, Sunan An-Nasa'i (1/232) No. 463, Musnad Ahmad
(3/370) No. 15021]
CHARITY IS YOUR BURHAN
...and charity is a
proof,...
-the munafiqoon don’t give sadaqa
-the prophet meant that giving charity is a sign that you are real Muslim
-because the munafiqoon don’t give it out
And nothing prevents their contributions from
being accepted from them except that they disbelieved in Allah and in His
Messenger (Muhammad (ﷺ)); and that they came not
to As-Salat (the prayer) except in a lazy state; and that they offer not contributions
but unwillingly. (At-Tawbah 9:54)
-sadaqa is a proof of your emaan
-and one of the signs of the last days is that people will stop paying zakah
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Umar said:
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) turned to us and said: 'O
Muhajirin, there are five things with which you will be tested, and I seek
refuge with Allah lest you live to see them: Immorality never appears among a
people to such an extent that they commit it openly, but plagues and diseases
that were never known among the predecessors will spread among them. They do
not cheat in weights and measures but they will be stricken with famine, severe
calamity and the oppression of their rulers. They do not withhold the Zakah of
the wealth, but rain will be withheld from the sky, and were it not for the
animals, no rain would fall on them. They do not break the covenant with Allah
and His Messenger, but Allah will enable their enemies to overpower them and
take some of what is in their hands. Unless their leaders rule according to the
Book of Allah and seek all good from that which Allah has revealed, Allah will
cause them to fight one another. [Sunan Ibn Majah (Arabic/English), Vol. 5, pg.
222-223, Hadith #4019]
-and they don’t do so because they fear poverty
-they think it will eat up their wealth
-but they don’t understand zakah means yanmoo (to grow and increase)
Who is he that will lend to Allah a goodly loan
so that He may multiply it to him many times? And it is Allah that decreases or
increases (your provisions), and unto Him you shall return. (Al-Baqarah 2:245)
-the munafiqoon in medina said Allah and his rasul give fake promises
-when the prophet died the first thing they stopped doing was paying zakat
-they said Abu Bakr is not a prophet
-that they only pay zakat to a prophet
Abu Hurayra said, "When the Messenger of
Allah (ﷺ), died and Abu Bakr was khalifa and those of the
Arabs who were going to reject rejected, 'Umar said, 'How can we fight people
when the Messenger of Allah said, "I am commanded to fight people until
they say, 'There is no god but Allah.' Whoever says that, his property and life
are protected from me, except when there is a legal right to them, and his
reckoning is up to Allah."?' Abu Bakr said, 'By Allah, I will fight anyone
who makes a distinction between prayer and zakat! Zakat is the right which is
due on wealth. By Allah, if they refuse me a nose- rope which they used to pay
to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, I will
fight them for refusing it!' 'Umar said, 'By Allah, then I realised that Allah
had expanded Abu Bakr's breast in respect of the decision to fight and I
recognised that it was the truth." [al-Bukhari and Muslim]
-when a person is a munafiq, sadaqa is a burden to him
-they fear poverty
-the promise of surah baqarah was called a fake promise by them
If you build a masjid for Allah He will build you one in paradise
Huraira (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When a man
dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: (1) A continuous charity, (2)
knowledge by which people derive benefit, (3) pious son who prays for
him." [Adab al-Mufrad al-Bukhari No. 38, Muslim (3/1255) No. 1631, Abu
Dawud (3/117) No. 2880, al-Nasa'i (6/251) No. 3651, Tirmidhi (3/660) No. 1376,
al-Darime (1/148) No. 559, Ahmad (2/372) No. 8831]
Narrated By 'Ubdaidullah Al-Khaulani: I heard
'Uthman bin 'Affan saying, when people argued too much about his intention to
reconstruct the mosque of Allah's Apostle, "You have talked too much. I
heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, 'Whoever built a
mosque, (Bukair thought that 'Asim, another sub narrator, added,
"Intending Allah's Pleasure"), Allah would build for him a similar
place in Paradise.'" [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 1, Book 8, Hadith #441]
-if you become wealthy the first thing you should do is build a masjid
...and patience is
illumination,..
-when you have no sabr you will apostate
And among mankind is he who worships Allah as it
were, upon the very edge (i.e. in doubt); if good befalls him, he is content
therewith; but if a trial befalls him, he turns back on his face (i.e. reverts
back to disbelief after embracing Islam). He loses both this world and the
Hereafter. That is the evident loss. (Al-Hajj 22:11)
And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not
dispute (with one another) lest you lose courage and your strength depart, and
be patient. Surely, Allah is with those who are As-Sabirin (the patient ones,
etc.). (Al-Anfal 8:46)
-many ayats state Allah is with the patient
And seek help in patience and As-Salat (the
prayer) and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khashi'un [i.e.
the true believers in Allah - those who obey Allah with full submission, fear
much from His Punishment, and believe in His Promise (Paradise, etc.) and in
His Warnings (Hell, etc.)]. (Al-Baqarah 2:45)
-only the patient can enter paradise
Anas ibn Malik reported that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “A time will come
on the people when the patient among them on his religion will be like one who
holds live coal (in his hand). [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/526) No. 2260]
On the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said; "Be prompt in
doing good deeds (before you are overtaken) by turbulence which would be like a
part of the dark night. A man would be a believer in the morning and turn to
disbelief in the evening, or he would be a believer in the evening and turn
disbeliever in the morning, and would sell his Faith for worldly goods."'
[Sahih Muslim (1/110) No. 118, Musnad Ahmad (2/303) No. 8017, Sunan Tirmidhi
(4/487) No. 2195]
-do any of you eat your shoes to survive?
-some live off food stamps
Abu Talhah (RA) narrated: We complained to
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) about our hunger and
raising from our stomach (the garment) bared the stone each of us had tied to
it. He showed that he had two stones (tied to his stomach.) [Sunan Tirmidhi
(4/585) No. 2371, Bayhaqi in ‘Shu'ab al Emaan’ (13/54) No. 9943]
-so have sabr the way the sahabah had sabr
...and the Qur’an is
a proof either for you or against you...
-the Quran is an argument for you or against you
-some hafidh (memorizes) of the Qur'an do bad things
-you are not allowed to drink alcohol, take drugs and gamble
-you have to become the walking Quran
Yazid ibn Yabnus said, "We went to 'A'isha
and said, 'Umm al-Mu'minin, what was the character of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), like?' She replied, 'His
character was the Qur'an. Can you recite the sura entitled "The
Believers"?' She said, 'Recite: "It is the believers who are
successful: those who are humble in their prayer; those who turn away from
worthless talk; those who actively pay zakat; those who guard their private
parts." (23:1-5)' She said, 'That was the character of the Messenger of
Allah (ﷺ).'"
[al-Adab al-Mufrad al-Bukhari, No. 308]
-no backbiting
-that is the explanation of the hadith
-some people have memorized the Quran but say Allah is everywhere
The Most Beneficent (Allah) Istawa (rose over)
the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). (Ta-Ha 20:5)
-what is the point of memorizing the Quran and you don’t believe what it says?
-your aqeeda is against the Quran that you have memorized
-what is the reason for you memorizing the Quran?
-is it for showing off?
-Quran says Allah is above the Arsh (the throne)
-but you say He is everywhere
Some claim that the throne is an abstract noun
-what do you mean that the Arsh is an abstract noun?
-are you saying that you cannot touch the Arsh?
-Eight angels will carry the throne
And the angels will be on its sides, and eight
angels will, that Day, bear the Throne of your Lord above them. (Al-Haqqah
69:17)
-the Prophet said Mûsa will hold a pillar of the throne
-you are a hafidh
Narrated Abu Said: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'People will be
struck unconscious on the Day of Resurrection and I will be the first to regain
consciousness, and behold! There I will see Moses holding one of the pillars of
Allah's Throne. I will wonder whether he has become conscious before me of he
has been exempted, because of his unconsciousness at the Tur (mountain) which
he received (on the earth)." [Sahih Bukhari (4/153) No. 3398]
Say (O Muhammad (ﷺ)): "I am only a man
like you. It has been inspired to me that your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God i.e.
Allah). So whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him work
righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord."
(Al-Kahf 18:110)
-you memorise the Quran but say contrary to it
-surah 18:110 says Muhammad (ﷺ) is not Noor
-but you say Muhammad (ﷺ) is alive in the grave
-if you are a hafidh you should know the verse in the Quran that says Muhammad
is dead
Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day
of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed
away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life
of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing). (Aali
Imran 3:185)
-the other evidence in the Quran for this:
Verily, you (O Muhammad (ﷺ)) will die and verily, they
(too) will die. (Az-Zumar 39:30)
-if you are a hafidh how come you contradict the Quran?
Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "On the Day of
Resurrection a group of companions will come to me, but will be driven away
from the Lake-Fount, and I will say, 'O Lord (those are) my companions!' It
will be said, 'You have no knowledge as to what they innovated after you left;
they turned apostate as renegades (reverted from Islam)." [Sahih Bukhari
(8/120) No. 6585]
Ibn 'Abbas said, "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up among us to
admonish us and said, 'O people! You will be gathered to Allah Almighty
barefoot, naked and uncircumcised. "As We originated the first creation,
so We will regenerate it. It a promise binding on Us. That is what We will
do." (21:103) The first of creatures to be clothed on the Day of Rising
will be Ibrahim. Men of my community will come and will be taken to the left. I
will say, "O Lord, my Companions!" and it will be said, "You do
not know what innovations they introduced after you." I will say the same
as the righteous slave ('Isa) said, "I was a witness against them as long
as I remained among them" to "The Almighty, the All-Wise."
(5:117-118)) I will be told, "They never stopped turning back on their
heels from the time you left them.'" [Al-Bukhari (3349) and Muslim (2860)]
-Muhammad (ﷺ) is alive in the grave is the aqeeda of the
Shiites and Berailvis
-if Muhammad knew what was going on
-how come the angels told him that he did not know
-what they did after he left them
-this is the hadith used to checkmate them
Aqeeda makes you a lion
-you are a hafidh and a Berailvis; yet you worship the graves
-Allah made takfir on the grave worshipper
Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the
obedience) is for Allah only. And those who take Auliya' (protectors and
helpers) besides Him (say) : "We worship them only that they may bring us
near to Allah." Verily, Allah will judge between them concerning that
wherein they differ. Truly, Allah guides not him who is a liar, and a
disbeliever. (Az-Zumar 39:3)
You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and
everything). (Al-Fatihah 1:5)
Nu’man ibn Bashir (RA) narrated the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “The supplication
is itself worship.” Then he recited. And your Lord says, “Call upon Me, and I
shall answer you. Surely those who are too arrogant to worship Me, they shall
enter Hell, disgraced.” (40: 60) [Tirmidhi (5/456) No. 3372, Abu Dawud (2/76)
No. 1479, Ibn Majah (5/5) No. 3828, Ahmad (4/271) No. 18410]
Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar that the
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "O Allah! Do not make my grave an idol
that is worshipped. The anger on those who took the graves of their Prophets as
places of prostration was terrible." [Muwatta Malik (1/223) No. 570,
Musannaf Abdur Razzaq (1/406) No. 1587, Musnad Ahmad (2/246) No. 7352]
-there is no difference between the Buddhists and the Berailvis
-they are idol worshippers and they are kuffar
-salah behind them is baatil
...Every person
starts his day as a vendor of his soul, either freeing it or causing its ruin…
-this statement of the prophet coincides with an ayah
And by Nafs (Adam or a person or a soul, etc.),
and Him Who perfected him in proportion;
(Ash-Shams 91:7) Then He showed him
what is wrong for him and what is right for him; (8) Indeed he succeeds
who purifies his own self (i.e. obeys and performs all that Allah ordered, by
following the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism and by doing righteous good
deeds).(9) (Ash-Shams 91:7-9)
And indeed he fails who corrupts his own self (i.e.
disobeys what Allah has ordered by rejecting the true Faith of Islamic
Monotheism or by following polytheism, etc. or by doing every kind of evil
wicked deeds). (Ash-Shams 91:10)
THE THREE TYPES OF SOUL:
1. The rebuking soul
2. The soul that is prone to evil
A believer sees his sins as if he were sitting
under a mountain which, he is afraid, may fall on him; whereas the wicked
person considers his sins as flies passing over his nose and he just drives
them away like this." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 8, Book 75, Hadith #320]
3. The peaceful soul/The tranquil soul
(It will be said to the pious) : "O (you) the
one in (complete) rest and satisfaction! (27) "Come back to your Lord, Well-pleased (yourself) and
well-pleasing unto Him! (28) "Enter you, then, among My honoured
slaves, (29) "And enter you My Paradise!"(30) (Al-Fajr 89:27-30)
-the prophet said: all of us controlling and are responsible for our
souls
