Part 2

EXAMPLES OF ACTIONS THAT ARE CONSIDERED TO BE MAKROOH

We have finished the makhrooh.

5. HARAM

The literal meaning means a sin.
It is also translated as forbidden.
The technical meaning of haram is, AN ACT OF DISOBEDIENCE TO ALLAH.
And the perpetuator of the act is neither a child, mad man nor jaahil about the hukum.

He did not make a mistake and he was not under duress at the time he did the act.

So sometimes a person might do a haram but they were under duress.

So it becomes not haram anymore.

Amaar ibn Yaasir (RA) was persecuted by the people of Quraish and he left Islam with his tongue because he was under duress.

Whoever disbelieved in Allah after his belief, except him who is forced thereto and whose heart is at rest with Faith but such as open their breasts to disbelief, on them is wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a great torment. (An-Nahl 16:106)

So Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) revealed the ayah above.

He has forbidden you only the Maytatah (dead animals), and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that which is slaughtered as a sacrifice for others than Allah (or has been slaughtered for idols, etc., on which Allah's Name has not been mentioned while slaughtering). But if one is forced by necessity without wilful disobedience nor transgressing due limits, then there is no sin on him. Truly, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Al-Baqarah 2:173)

The person who commits the act cannot be under duress, or be a child, or a mad man.

Furthermore, he cannot make a mistake or be ignorant about the HUKM.
These are the five impediments of Takfeer.

Example a man gets married to two women and is living with them simultaneously. The two women are related as aunt and niece.

On the authority of Qataada who said: “A woman slept with her male servant and cited an ayah of the Holy Qur'an as her evidence for her action. ‘…or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess…’ (An-Nur 24:31). This woman was brought to Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA) by a group of Sahabas who complained to Umar that she misinterpreted a verse from the Holy Qur’an and slept with her male servant. Umar commanded that the male servant should be sent away for a year and he was beheaded. He then said to the woman you are now haram for all Muslims.” [Tafseer al-Tabari (9/586) No. 11277]

However, since the man was ignorant about the HUKM of marrying an aunt and a sister at the same time, the man is excused.

In the time of Umar (RA), a woman slept with he slave boy, out of ignorance, thinking she was allowed to do so.

Umar (RA) did not punish her; she was let free because of an impediment.
This shows you the mercy of the ISLAMIC SHARIA.
We give people the excuse of ignorance and we do not punish them due to their ignorance.

In order to pronounce a person a Sinner you must make sure one of the FIVE IMPEDIMENTS (DURESS, MADNESS, CHILD, MISTAKE & IGNORANCE) are not in play.

When compared to the Kafir laws, it is clear that the Kafir laws are evil and oppressive.

Abu Hamza Anas ibn Malik al-Ansari (RA) the servant of the Messenger of Allah narrated: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Verily, Allah is more delighted with the repentance of His slave than a person who lost his camel in a desert land and then finds it (unexpectedly).” [Al-Bukhari (6308) and Muslim (2747)]

In another version of Muslim, he said:" Verily, Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His slave than a person who has his camel in a waterless desert carrying his provision of food and drink and it is lost. He, having lost all hopes (to get that back), lies down in shade and is disappointed about his camel; when all of a sudden he finds that camel standing before him. He takes hold of its reins and then out of boundless joy blurts out: 'O Allah, You are my slave and I am Your Rubb'. He commits this mistake out of extreme joy.” [Sahih Muslim (4/2104) No. 2747]

You cannot be considered a Sinner if you say something by mistake, example a slip of the tongue.

Even if you were to say something that was KUFR, as long as it was an innocent slip of the tongue you are not held accountable.
Also, if you forget to pray ASR, you are not a sinner.

On the authority of Ibn Abbas (RA), that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Verily Allah has pardoned [or been lenient with] for me my ummah: their mistakes, their forgetfulness, and that which they have been forced to do under duress. A hasan hadith related by Ibn Majah, and al-Bayhaqee and others.

However, if you miss ASR on purpose, knowingly, then you are a sinner.

THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF HARAM

1) MAJOR HARAM &

2) MINOR HARAM

We know when an act is a Major Haram if the punishment for it is set in the Dunya or the Aakhira.

Stealing, Slandering a Muslim are examples of Major Haram. Their punishment is decreed.
Anything that eradicates one of the six sacred things is considered to be Major Haram.

THE SIX SACRED THINGS ARE YOUR

[LIFE + WEALTH + HONOUR + INTELLECT + LINEAGE + RELIGION]

Allah's curse is attached to the ones who commit MAJOR HARAM.

Allah's anger is also upon those who commit MAJOR HARAM.

And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein, and the Wrath and the Curse of Allah are upon him, and a great punishment is prepared for him. (An-Nisa 4:93)

Whenever the punishment for an action is not specified, it is considered to be a MINOR HARAM.

Example; shaking hands with Stranger women

Example proposing to a widow while she is in her Iddah.

You are only allowed to drop a hint that you are interested.

Every HARAM is KUFR.
But there are TWO TYPES OF KUFR - 1) MAJOR KUFR & 2) MINOR KUFR.

The only HARAM that can take you out of the fold of ISLAM is the HARAM that is classified as MAJOR KUFR.

If the HARAM was not classified as MAJOR KUFR, the person commiting the act is not a KAFIR.
Even though it is MAJOR HARAM to cheat on your wife, it is not classified as MAJOR KUFR.
EVERY MAJOR HARAM IS NOT MAJOR KUFR.

This is where the KHAWAARIJ went astray.

Even though drinking Alcohol is Major Haram it is not MAJOR KUFR.
The KHAWAARIJ did not classify the knowledge and became headless chickens.

A Sahaba used to drink Alcohol during the time of the Prophet (ﷺ).
This reminds us that drinking alcohol is not classified as Major Kufr.
The Khawaarij they went astray because they figured that every MAJOR HARAM means MAJOR KUFR.

In essence they failed to differentiate between MAJOR HARAM and MAJOR KUFR.
To gamble in a Casino is Major Haram, not Major Kufr. The gambler is still inside the fold of ISLAM.
Every MAJOR HARAM IS NOT MAJOR KUFR but every MAJOR KUFR IS MAJOR HARAM.

Even though the person commiting an action that is classified, as MAJOR HARAM is not deemed a KAFIR, it is possible for ALLAH to dump him in the HELLFIRE for a while and then replace his place in the PARADISE.

In the HELLFIRE for a while and then transfer him into the PARADISE.
This is after he has been punished in the HELLFIRE for sometime.
Therefore a person should not lead a happy go-lucky life.

This is where the MURJIA went astray.
The Murjia they live a happy go lucky life. They want to be left alone to have fun as long as they don't do Major Kufr.
They love to quote the AYAT, that ALLAH IS THE MOST FORGIVING THE MOST MERCIFUL.
Istihlaal is to make haraam halaal.

WHENEVER A HARAM DID NOT REACH THE LEVEL OF MAJOR KUFR, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE TAKFEER ON THE PERSON COMMITING THE SIN, UNLESS HE PRONOUNCES THE HARAM TO BE HALAL

As long as he did not pronounce his sin to be Halal, you cannot make Takfeer on him.

This only applies if his SIN IS NOT MAJOR KUFR.

WHENEVER THE HARAM REACHES THE LEVEL OF MAJOR KUFR, WE MAKE TAKFEER ON HIM, EVEN IF HE DID NOT MAKE IT HALAL

This is where the SAUDI SALAFI's have gone astray. They are weak in TAUHEED.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Muhammad ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn Sad ibn Zurara that he had heard that Hafsa, the wife of the Prophet (SAW), killed one of her slave-girls who had used sorcery against her. She was a mudabbara. Hafsa gave the order, and she was killed. [Muwatta Malik (2/458) No. 2876]

Example a woman worked black magic on Hafsa (RAA) and Ibn Umar (RA) killed her as a KAFIR.

Bajaalah (RA) said: “Umar ibn al-Khattaab (RA) wrote to us commanding us to kill every sorcerer, male or female.” [Musnad Ahmad (1/190) No. 1657, Sunan Abu Dawud (3/168) No. 3043, al-Sunan al-Kabir al-Bayhaqi (9/318) No. 18652]

This is because BLACK MAGIC is MAJOR KUFR, even if you don't pronounce it HALAL.
An example of MAJOR KUFR is to marry your step-mother, when your father passes away.

Narrated By Al-Bara' ibn Azib: I met my uncle who was carrying a standard. I asked him: 'Where are you going?' He said: 'The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) has sent me to a man who has married his father's wife. He has ordered me to cut off his head and take his property.' [Sunan Abu Dawud (4/157) No. 4457, Sunan al-Nasa'i (6/109) No. 3332, Sunan al-Darime (2/205) No. 2239, Musnad Ahmad (4/290) No. 18580]

BLACK MAGIC is MAJOR KUFR, even if you don't pronounce it HALAL, you are still a KAFIR.
You use the above the HADITH to checkmate a SAUDI SALAFI.
They believe that a person can do all the MAJOR KUFR and as long as he does not pronounce it HALAL, he is not a KAFIR. THIS IS FALSE.

Al-Albani: (We don’t think this accurate is in absolute sense, because it is possible that this insult (sabb) or reviling (satam) is the result of ignorance, bad upbringing, negligence, And lastly it could be with intent and knowledge, and in that case, it is a clear apostasy, of which there's no doubt. But if it carries either of the former situations which I pointed at. Then it's best Islamic to refrain from takfir than to rush towards it.)Source: Silsilat al-Huda wa al-Nur, tape nr. 820, min. 46:03).

There are extreme MURJIA.

Al-Imam Ishaq Ibn Rahawayh said: (All Muslims are in consensus that whoever curses Allah or curses His Messenger, or rejects something from what Allah revealed, or killed a prophet, that he is a kafir; and even if he accept what was revealed by Allah. And Al-Khattabi said, "I don't know of anyone who disagrees with the obligation of his killing." And Muhammad Ibn Sahnun said that the scholars are in consensus that the one who curses the Messenger is a Kafir; and whoever doubts his Kufr is a Kafir.) {Taken from (Kitab al-Sarim al-Maslul 'ala satim al-Rasul, by Ibn Taymiyya)}

Abu al-Husain Muhammad Ibn Ahmad al-'Asqalani said: «The Mu'tazila of Baghdad and Basra, and all of ahl al-Qibla, there is no ikhtilaf between them concerning, that the one who doubts regarding the kafir then he himself is a kafir, because the doubter (sakk) concerning kufr there's no ‘iman for him, because he don't know kufr from ‘iman. So there's no dispute between the Umma, the Mu'tazila and other than them; that the doubter concerning the kafir is kafir! “{Taken from (Kitab al-Tanbih wa al-Radd 'ala ahl al-Ahwa' wa al-Bida’, by Muhammad Ibn Ahmad al-Malati)}

Albani was the person who revived the Ghulaat Murjia ideology in this century. He said you are not a Kafir if you Insult Mohammad (ﷺ).

THE LIBERAL IS THE MURJI and THE KHAWAARIJ IS THE PURITANT

They are on opposite sides of the spectrum.
Both have a pitiful, appalling and pathetic situation.
They are WEAK IN TAUHEED.
They do not classify the knowledge and end up being headless chickens.

THE PERSON WHO COMMITS ACTIONS THAT ARE MAJOR HARAM IS NOT A KAFIR, BECAUSE HIS MAJOR HARAM DID NOT REACH THE LEVEL OF MAJOR KUFR.

WE call him a Muslim in DUNYA and in the HEREAFTER; you are at the MERCY of ALLAH (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ).

Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases, and whoever sets up partners with Allah in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin. (An-Nisa 4:48)

Even though the perpetrator of a Major Haram is not a Kafir. He should be excoriated (rebuked) by the MUSLIM community because ALLAH (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) can dump him in the HELL FIRE in the Hereafter.

BECAUSE ALLAH reminded us in the QURAN that HE will forgive whom HE pleases to forgive.
We should not give ourselves false hope and commit Major Haram, thinking that Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) will forgive us. WE HAVE NO GAURANTEE.

Whenever a Muslim has a Major Haram as a trait in his character, we are not allowed to excommunicate that Muslim.
This is because if we ex-communicate him, he will turn an apostate from the DEEN.
The person commiting Major Haram is not commiting SHIRK. There is still some hope for him in the hereafter. We should remember that.

On the authority of Anas (RA) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say, "Allah the Almighty has said: ‘O Son of Adam, as long as you invoke Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O Son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and you then asked forgiveness from Me, I would forgive you. O Son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the Earth, and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it [too].’" [Sunan Tirmidhi (5/548) No. 3540; who said that it was a hasan hadeeth.]

The only time you can ex-communicates a Muslim is if he turns out to be a MUNAFIQ (HYPOCRITE).
The person who commits Major Haram is not a Munafiq, but he is a FAASIQ (SINNER).
There is no such thing as a PERFECT MUSLIM.

The Munafiq is a person who is pretending to be Muslim, whereas a Faasiq has a weakness.
The Muslim woman who lives with a Husband who has an intoxication problem (alcohol, ganja, etc.), she is not living with a KAFIR, and she is not commiting ZINA.
However, a Muslim woman, who lives with a man, who does not pray, has doubts about ISLAM or abandons SALAH in its totality, she is living with a KAFIR and it commiting ZINA.
No Haram can EJECT you OUT of THE FOLD OF ISLAM, unless it is classified as MAJOR KUFR.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "An adulterer, at the time he is committing illegal sexual intercourse is not a believer; and a person, at the time of drinking an alcoholic drink is not a believer; and a thief, at the time of stealing, is not a believer." Ibn Shihab said: 'Abdul Malik bin Abi Bakr bin 'Abdur-Rahman bin Al-Harith bin Hisham told me that Abu Bakr used to narrate that narration to him on the authority of Abu Huraira. He used to add that Abu Bakr used to mention, besides the above cases, "And he who robs (takes illegally something by force) while the people are looking at him, is not a believer at the time he is robbing (taking). [al-Bukhari (5578) and Muslim (57)]

The PROPHER (ﷺ) said the man is not a MUMIN (A BELIEVER) in the act. HE did not say he is not a MUSLIM. Therefore if a man should die of a Heart Attack while commiting Zina, he died as a Muslim and not a Mumin.

A Khawarij will tell you the man who died commiting Zina, is a Kafir and we cannot perform Janazah over him.
This is because they do not classify the knowledge and generalise all sins as an act that makes you a KAFIR.

They miss-understand the above Hadith.
Zina is not MAJOR KUFR. Zina is MINOR KUFR.
When a man commits suicide, he commits a MAJOR HARAM. However, he will not abide in the HELLFIRE forever.

HE is not a KAFIR, because suicide is MAJOR HARAM not MAJOR KUFR (forever).

The PROPHET (ﷺ) will intercede for the man who commits suicide yet believes it is HARAM.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The prophet ﷺ said, "He who commits suicide by throttling shall keep on throttling himself in the Hell Fire (forever) and he who commits suicide by stabbing himself shall keep on stabbing himself in the Hell-Fire." (Bukhari #23, Hadith #446)

The only person who will abide in the HELLFIRE forever is the man how commits suicide claiming it is HALAL.

It is a bigger sin to KILL YOUR MUSLIM BROTHER when compared to killing yourself.

Ibn Mas'ud reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), said, "Insulting a Muslim is going off the path (fusuq) and killing him is disbelief (kufr)." [Al-Bukhari (48) and Muslim (64)]

The KUFR that the PROPHET (ﷺ) speaks about in the above HADITH is MINOE KUFR.
WE know that AISHA (RAA) and ALI (RA) fought at the BATTLE of the CAMEL (Siffin).
We do not make Takfeer on Aisha (RAA) and Ali (RA).
Also, at the BATTLE of SIFFIN, Ali (RA) and Muawiyya (RA) were fighting. We do not classify them as Kafir.

||| WHAT ARE THE SEVEN MAJOR SINS? |||

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet (ﷺ), said, "Avoid the seven fatal sins." They said, "Messenger of Allah, what are they?" He said, "Associating with Allah, sorcery, killing a soul which Allah has forbidden, except by legal right, consuming usury, consuming the property of an orphan, fleeing on the day of battle and slandering unthinking chaste believing women." [Al-Bukhari (2766) and Muslim (89)]

THE 7 MAJOR SINS ARE:

SHIRK (KAFIR),

MAGIC (KAFIR),

MURDER (FAASIQ),

RIBA (FAASIQ),

STEALING (FAASIQ),

FLEEING FROM THE BATTLE (FAASIQ) and SLANDER (FAASIQ) 

Out of the 7 MAJOR SINS only TWO sins make you a KAFIR, the rest make you a FAASIQ.

It must be borne in mind that the all the sins of the PERSON you commit the MAJOR SIN against, get onto your balance.

If you murder a MUSLIM, you will have to take his BURDEN of SINS on JUDGEMENT OF DAY.

The story of CAIN & ABEL reminds us of the Murderer bearing the sins of the Victim.

If you do stretch your hand against me to kill me, I shall never stretch my hand against you to kill you, for I fear Allah; the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)." "Verily, I intend to let you draw my sin on yourself as well as yours, then you will be one of the dwellers of the Fire, and that is the recompense of the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong­doers)." (Al-Ma'idah 5:28-29)

The EVIDENCE TO PROOVE that when MUSLIMS KILL EACH OTHER ARE NOT KAFIR IS SURAH 49 VERSE 9.

And if two parties or groups among the believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them both, but if one of them rebels against the other, then fight you (all) against the one that which rebels till it complies with the Command of Allah; then if it complies, then make reconciliation between them justly, and be equitable. Verily! Allah loves those who are equitable. (Al-Hujurat 49:9)

Muslims will come out of HELL with SHAFA'A (Intercession) they will NOT burn in HELL FOREVER.

Abu Huraira narrated the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "None of you must point a weapon at his brother for he does not know whether the devil may draw it out while it is in his hand as a result of which he will fall into a pit of hell." [Al-Bukhari (7072) and Muslim (2617)]

Thawban (RA) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, ‘The woman who seeks divorce from her husband for no reason will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise.” [Sunan Abu Dawud (2/268) No. 2226, Sunan Tirmidhi (3/485) No. 1187, Sunan Ibn Majah (3/207) No. 2055, Sunan al-Darime (2/216) No. 2270, Musnad Ahmad (5/283) No. 22493]

Even if the Muslims fight and kill each other, still ALLAH (SWT) labels them as believers in the Holy Quran.

Because when you kill a Muslim, it is a MAJOR HARAM and NOT a MAJOR KUFR.
The only sin that can eject you out of the FOLD of ISLAM is a MAJOR KUFR.

A HARAM ACT CAN BE COMMITED WITH YOU HEART, YOUR TONGUE or YOUR LIMBS

So when a person has doubts about Islam and is not sure that the Quran is the Book of ALLAH, he has committed Haram with his heart and counts his faith.

Also when a person has doubts about Muhammad (ﷺ) and is not sure that Muhammad (ﷺ) is the Prophet of ALLAH, he has committed Haram with his heart and doubts about his faith.

Allah reminds us in the QURAN, about the DISEASE OF DOUBT AND HYPOCRICY.

In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allah has increased their disease. A painful torment is theirs because they used to tell lies. (Al-Baqarah 2:10)

One of the SEVEN CONDITIONS OF SHAHADA is CERTAINTY. THEREFORE A PERSON WHO DOUBTS HIS FAITH HE IS A KAFIR.

His Muslim wife is Haram for him. He is not allowed to enter MAKKAH or MEDINA and when he dies we do not wash him pray over him or bury him in the graveyard of the Muslims.

The above Example is commiting MAJOR KUFR with your HEART.
An Example of committing MAJOR KUFR with your TONGUE is insulting ALLAH (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ), THE HOLY PROPHET (ﷺ) or THE QURAN.

This is classified as MAJOR KUFR and results in apostasy.
An Example of commiting MAJOR KUFR with your LIMBS is praying to the GRAVES, like the Barelvis and Goofy Sufis do.

This is an act of apostasy and is classified as MAJOR KUFR.
The person who dabbles in the SHIRK OF IBADAH cannot be given the excuse of ignorance.

And (remember) when your Lord brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their loins, their seed (or from Adam's loin his offspring) and made them testify as to themselves (saying) : "Am I not your Lord?" They said: "Yes! We testify," lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection: "Verily, we have been unaware of this." (Al-A'raf 7:172)

EXAMPLES OF APOSTASY

APOSTASY # 1 = TO INSULT ALLAH (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ)

APOSTASY # 2 = TO INSULT THE HOLY PROPHET (SAWS)

APOSTASY # 3 = TO INSULT THE HOLY QURAN

By saying the Quran is a corrupted TEXT; THE SHIA SAYS THIS.

APOSTASY # 4 = TO DABBLE IN BLACK MAGIC

APOSTASY # 5 = TO SPY FOR THE KUFFAR AGAINST THE MUSLIMS

APOSTASY # 6 = TO MARRY YOUR FATHERS WIFE - YOUR STEP MOTHER

APOSTASY # 7 = TO HAVE DOUBTS IN YOUR HEART ABOUT ISLAM BEING THE TRUTH

The moments you have doubts, you have lost your faith.

APOSTASY # 8 = TO DISMANTLE THE SHARIA

Shaikh 'Abdul-'Azeez Ibn 'Abdullah Ibn Baaz said: "There is no Eeman for the one who believes the laws of the people and their opinions are superior to the Hukm of Allah and His Messenger or that they are equal to it or that they resemble it or who leaves it or replaces it with fabricated laws and institutions invented by people, even if he believes that the laws of Allah are more encompassing and more just." [Wujoob Tah'keem Shari'ah Allah' (pg. 16-17)]

Even if you believe in you heart that the SHARIA is better than man made laws, you are still a KAFIR.
The Saudi Salafis have marketed this dodgy Aqeeda.

APOSTASY # 9 = TO DENY OF ISLAM WHAT IS KNOWN OF ISLAM BY NECESSITY

APOSTASY # 10 = TO PRAY TO THE INHABITANTS OF THE GRAVE AND BEG THEM FOR HELP

The Barelvis are guilty of this apostasy.

APOSTASY # 11 = TO BELIEVE ALLAH APPEARED ON EARTH IN THE FORM OF A MAN

The Nation of Islam misled by Lou-is-Far-gone.
They believe Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) came down on earth in the form of a man and are guilty of this apostasy.

APOSTASY # 12 = TO MAKE WHAT IS HARAM, HALAL AND TO MAKE WHAT IS HALAL, HARAM

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (d. 728H):  “Whenever a person makes halal what is haraam by consensus or makes haraam what is halal by consensus or replaces the Sharee’ah that is agreed upon by consensus, then he is a Kaffir by the agreement of the scholars of Fiqh.” – “Al-Fataawa”, Vol. 3/267

APOSTASY # 13 = TO BELIEVE THERE WILL BE A PROPHET AFTER MUHAMMAD (ﷺ)

This belief makes you an apostate.

APOSTASY # 14 = TO LIE ON MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) BY FABRICATING A HADITH; USING THE HADITH TO MISGUIDE MUSLIMS

APOSTACY # 16 = TO RIDICULE ISLAM IS AN ACT OF APOSTACY

If you ask them (about this), they declare: "We were only talking idly and joking." Say: "Was it at Allah, and His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and His Messenger (ﷺ) that you were mocking?" Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after you had believed. If We pardon some of you, We will punish others amongst you because they were Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc.). (At-Tawbah 9:65-66)

Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) has made Takfeer on the people who mock the DEEN.
